Materials
Reclaimed Teak
Reclaimed teak has weathered years of exposure, giving it mature grain and a rich, uneven colour. It is a dense, strong, naturally oily wood — very robust. Different from freshly cut teak, it ages charmingly with small imperfections that add to its beauty.
At first glance you may notice the knots, cracks, uneven tones and imperfections in our reclaimed teak. Those imperfections are what make each piece special — a record of the material’s history. We love imperfection: perfection does not fuel connection.
Textures
Once the wood is chosen, the texture is next. Sixteen textures, from hand-sculpted by our master carpenters to machine-carved — all of them applicable to reclaimed teak.
